Humanitarian Relief
Assisting those who do not
have water, alternative and western medical, non-GMO seed, and who need
to escape dangerous situations is also a part of our scope. Giving
people water is very important, but they also need to be strong enough
to plant seed, and to have seed that will feed the people. People also
need to be safe from conflict.
Education Facilities
According to the EPA report IQA EPA and Learning focus, cognitive understanding, ADD, ADHD, asthma, autoimmune disorders, defense to colds and flu are interrelated to indoor air quality of the classrooms. As well as to instructor wellness, the number of sick days per year are greatly reduced when the mold, rust, pollen, chemicals in the carpet, paint thinner, copier toner fumes among many others are removed from the building. Air Quality and Learning.
Many schools serve multi-purposes in the community. Many are also meeting places and are designated Emergency Response Centers. In an emergency situation, having clean water and clean air is vital. Being able to remove toxins from the air at the Triage site is vital to both emergency workers and for the survivors. Waiting for an emergency and trucking in water is both expensive and impractical. Waiting for trucks with cases of water to come into a compromised situation----like with Hurricane Katrine, may prove to be impossible. Storing cases and cases of water then transporting them at the time of need may be impossible, but to have the water and air quality equipment on site is much more practical and effective emergency preparedness plan.
